I’ve lived in Bloomfield New Jersey my entire life.

Growing up I didn’t know I was an artist.

I was more interested in hanging out with my friends and

never being home.

As a child I would copy the occasional fruit bowl in the

kitchen, but I would get bored and put down my pencils

and crayons because I didn’t have the drive to paint at that

time.

What made my cells rumble was dancing and singing.

Still does..

However, the universe had other plans for me.

I had a baby and that opportunity came and went.

So, fast forward to after having my second child,

I said to myself, “I wonder if I could paint”!

Well, once I picked up that brush, and realized the

places it took me, I never put it down.

I had no formal training, so I needed to discover things on my own. I realized that there are no mistakes when it comes to painting.. or life! and I started putting my feelings onto the canvas as if something else was painting through me. 

Just putting paint where my instincts felt they needed to be.

To me, art is the expression of what’s inside of you at all times.

And if you let it speak, it has the power to heal you and help you tell beautiful stories.
